What I do
Background:
I have clinical experience with patients across a continuum of care ranging from school-based settings to acute inpatient facilities. My approach to therapy is significantly based on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment (ACT) models of treatment for a variety of psychological disorders. I also have proficiency in educational, psychological, and neuropsychological assessment. I developed my clinical specialty in CBT with exposure at the University of Florida’s (UF) Division of Psychology's anxiety/obsessive-compulsive disorder intensive outpatient program (link here). From 2017-2022, I also participated in UF's Fear Facers Summer Camp and served as the camp’s Assistant Clinical Coordinator in 2021. https://dellmed.utexas.edu/directory/gregory-muller https://iocdf.org/providers/muller-greg/ Primary Roles Include: -Outpatient therapist in UTHA's Adult Psychiatry Clinic -Outpatient therapist in UTHA's Trauma Recovery & Research Clinic (TRRC) -Psychotherapy Training Supervisor for the PGY-2 psychiatry residents -Study therapist on the COMPASS Pathways Phase 3 psilocybin clinical trials -Evaluator in UTHA's Comprehensive Diagnostic Treatment & Evaluation Program -Project Coordinator - Fogarty/NIH-funded Ukraine trauma therapy project -Volunteer - The Living/Dying Project |
